For many folks, mosaic knitting seems a bit of a mystery. Is it stranded colorwork? Fair Isle? How are those beautiful patterns made? It's time to get the answers to all of those questions!
In this short, 2-hour class, you'll learn the basics of mosaic knitting. And from there, you will be equipped to take on beautiful patterns using this technique. You'll leave with a great start on your project, the Pressed Flowers Kerchief.
Instructor: Cheryl Kubat.
What to bring: Yarn and needles appropriate for the pattern. Upon sign up, you will be emailed a copy of the pattern to help with yarn selection.
The pictured sample was knit in Lanas Light and Junction Fiber Mill Making Tracks Lite. For those who need supplies, there is a 15% discount for students at the shop. Feel free to stop in for assistance in choosing supplies. A printed pattern is included.
Level: Confident beginner.
Prerequisites: How to cast on, knit, purl, increase and decrease.
Date/Time: Sunday, May 4 from 10 am-noon.
