Granny Squares: A Next Steps in Crochet Workshop

Join us for a fun and relaxing crochet workshop at South End Yarn Co.! The goal of this class is for you to build on your basic knowledge of crochet to learn how to make granny squares. You will learn how to start, double crochet on a square shape, finish edges and combine colors. You will also learn assembly techniques!

With granny squares you can make gloves, bags, pillows, blankets, hats, tops, cardigans, sweaters, add as a detail on pants, and so many other projects.

Instructor: Leah Reed

Level: Adventurous beginner. You already know how to chain and double crochet!

What to bring:

1 crochet hook size USA H (5mm) and a little pair of scissors. We will provide 4 balls of wool yarn and a tapestry needle.

Date/Time: Sunday, December 13, 1 to 3 pm.
