Crochet Next Steps: Granny Squares

Join us for fun and relaxing crochet classes at South End Yarn Co.! The goal of this two-class series is for you to build on your basic knowledge of crochet to learn how to make granny squares . You will learn how to start, DC on a square shape, finish edges and combine colors. You will also learn three assembly techniques!

With granny squares you can make gloves, bags, pillows, blankets, hats, tops, cardigans, sweaters, add as a detail on pants, and so many other projects.

Level: Adventurous beginner. You already know how to chain and double crochet!

What to bring: 1 crochet hook size USA H (5mm) and a little pair of scissors. We will provide 4 balls of wool yarn and a tapestry needle.

Date/Time: Mondays 6 to 8 pm. May 5 and 12.

This class will run with 2 to 6 students.
