Finish Like a Pro Workshop

Join Hélène Driesen (who has been finishing for others for over 20 years) during this 3-hour workshop and learn to finish your project like a pro. Finishing a project with a professional look starts before you cast on your project. 

Hélène will discuss:

• certain types of cast-on methods
• where to place increases and decreases as well as which ones to use in certain circumstances
• Proper seaming techniques
• Picking up for neck and button bands

You will be provided a digital handout for future reference.

Level: Suitable for all levels. 

Prerequisites: How to cast on, knit and purl.

Homework and required tools: 

• Print out the handout in advance. 
• Knit 2 4"x4" stockinette stitch squares out of light to mid colored DK or sport weight yarn.
• Knit 2 4"x4" garter stitch squares out of light to mid colored DK or sport weight yarn.
• Bring darning needle and scissors.
