During this three-hour class, you will learn how to knit a headband with a traditional Fair Isle design using two colors and a third for the lining.

You will learn about color dominance, how to read a chart, catching floats, as well as using both hands for color knitting.

Handouts with links to the different techniques to refer back to will be sent as a pdf to those who sign up.

Instructor: Hélène Driesen of Kieran Knits

What to bring: Completed homework! After signing up, please pop into the shop to choose a kit and learn about the very small about of homework required before the class.

Level: Confident beginner.

Prerequisites: How to cast on, knit and purl. Knitters must also be familiar with knitting in the round with either a short circular needle (16"), Magic Loop, or double point needles.

Date/Time: Saturday, June 13th from 1 to 4 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: The class fee of $65 is payable directly to Hélène via Venmo, Cash or Check on the day of the class. The $35 kit fee (needles not included) is payable at registration. After registering, please stop by the shop to choose your kit so you can do your homework!

This class will run with 3 to 6 students.
