Introduction to Fair Isle: A Next Steps in Knitting Workshop
During this two and a half hour class, you will learn how to knit a headband with a traditional Fair Isle design using two colors and a third for the lining.
You will learn about color dominance, how to read a chart, catching floats, as well as using both hands for color knitting.
Handouts with links to the different techniques to refer back to will be sent as a pdf to those who sign-up. A kit is included in the class fee. You will have your choice of three color combinations.

What to bring: Completed homework! After signing up, please pop into the shop to choose a kit and learn about the very small about of homework required before the class.
Level: Confident beginner.
Prerequisites: How to cast on, knit and purl. Knitters must also be familiar with knitting in the round with either a short circular needle (16"), Magic Loop, or double point needles.
Date/Time: Wednesday, September 4 from 6 to 8:30 pm.
